At Vum VPN we follow a strict privacy principle and collect as little data as possible. We do not track what users do, do not inspect their traffic and do not create activity logs.
By using the Service you confirm that you have read this Policy.
1. Data we do NOT collect
Vum VPN does not record or store:
- browsing history;
- the contents of your internet traffic;
- DNS queries;
- routing data;
- traffic destination identifiers;
- connection and disconnection timestamps;
- information about the apps, services or protocols you use.
We do not monitor activity and do not link technical events to a specific user. Vum VPN follows a no-traffic-logs policy.
2. Data we may process
We limit ourselves to what is required to operate the Service and your account.
2.1. Data provided during sign-up or payment (where applicable)
- when you sign in with Telegram, VK or Google — your ID in that service, name, username and profile photo link, if the service provides them;
- email address (if you provide one or the sign-in service provides it);
- devices signed in to the app: device name, platform and time of last access — so you can see the list and sign them out;
- the fact and status of a payment (we neither receive nor store card numbers — the payment provider handles them);
- your account identifier.
2.2. Short-lived technical data
Used only to keep the servers running and to prevent abuse:
- the IP address used to reach the panel or website (not retained after the session);
- basic device information (OS type, model — where sent automatically);
- diagnostic errors (not linked to a user).
We keep no permanent logs of connections to configurations.
3. How we use data
We use this minimal information only to:
- provide access to configurations and tunnelled connections;
- keep your account working;
- process payments;
- improve the stability and quality of service features;
- prevent fraud.
We do not use data for advertising, behavioural analysis or sharing with third parties (other than payment providers, strictly within a transaction).
4. Sharing data with third parties
We may share data only with:
- Payment providers — only what is needed to process a payment.
- Infrastructure providers (hosting/servers) — only the technical data needed to run the services. No provider has access to connection traffic.
We do not sell, rent or trade user information.
5. Data retention
We store only:
- account data (where an account exists);
- records of completed payments, to the extent required.
No technical logs of traffic or activity are kept.
Once an account is deleted:
- the email address (if provided) is deleted;
- access credentials are revoked.
6. Cookies and anonymous analytics
We may use:
- a cookie for authentication;
- local storage for interface settings.
We do not use cookies to track behaviour. Analytics, where enabled, are fully anonymised.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- request information about the data stored about you;
- delete your account;
- withdraw consent to data processing;
- request correction of your information.
To exercise these rights, write to support@vumvpn.com or to @vumvpn_support on Telegram from the account you use to sign in to the Service. We will reply within 10 business days.
8. Age restrictions
The Service is intended for adults. Persons under 18 may use it only with the consent of a parent or other legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has given us data without such consent, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The current version is always published on the website.
